The Julia A. Purnell Museum presents Spring, Remade, a new exhibition exploring renewal
through reclaimed and repurposed materials. Single-use packaging and found objects are
transformed into florals, figures, fiber works, and sculptural forms—anchored by a
hand-formed arch of remade blossoms that invites visitors into a season of second
beginnings.
Join us for the opening reception on May 29 at 5:00 p.m. The exhibition will be on view
throughout June, and all works will be available for purchase during museum hours.
Featuring the work of Sheila R. Cherry, a multidisciplinary fiber artist whose practice
centers on sustainability, craftsmanship, and giving new life to discarded materials. Cherry
also leads community workshops in sustainable making and serves as executive producer
of Arts on the Shore on PAC 14.
