The Angler Restaurant & Dock Bar is located on Talbot Street and the bay in downtown Ocean City. Established in 1938, the Angler features breakfast, lunch and dinner overlooking the Sinepuxent Bay. Dine on great seafood including raw bar items and fresh fish or join us for happy hour or evening entertainment.

Deep Sea Fishing:
The Angler offers deep sea fishing daily on our 65 foot fiberglass party boat. Catches include sea bass, cod, trout and other varieties. Our nature cruises are one of our most popular attractions. We cruise by Assateague Island and off shore through the inlet which will give you the opportunity to view a variety of exciting wildlife.

Nature Cruises:
Travel Ocean City's bays aboard our 65' fiberglass party boat. Cruise the shores of our local National Park of Assateague Island, where ponies roam freely along barrier island shores. Waterfowl including Osprey nest in these areas as well. As your tour heads offshore to the Atlantic Ocean, you'll move through Ocean City's inlet, notoriously cut in 1933. Dolphins come to our Atlantic Ocean area during the summer months. Bring your camera for shots of these natural wonders.

It’s rare I have such an unexpected delightful, (outside of the norm) dining experience- but I did tonight, here. I had the seafood linguini, oysters, IPA’s, and watched the sun slowly going down. Sara, was great as my server- attentive and helpful, not hovering at all. I observed her and other staff, to see how they seemed bc I was pretty impressed by everything here (ambiance food vibe etc) and everyone seems happy, working here. I can tell when ppl are faking it (I like to think at least) also, and staff seemed chill. It was such a nice experience. I then saw a memorial picture of a bartender that apparently worked here for many heard and died recently- suddenly - in May. I was both touched, that they had a picture and a nice remembrance to her, and grateful, because it was obvious she was great and very important to ppl here/ what a great employer, to honor her. And to honor employees’ grief. So, I asked about her. I heard all about her and how wonderful she was, how much she is deeply missed. And it just touched me. I already loved this place… this, put it over the edge of the place I’d highly recommend visiting, the human / personal touch, beyond just a restaurant on the water. This feels like a great place. And the place I loved.. visited right before? (Oldest bar in Ocean City, hole in the wall) they highly recommended it when they heard I was looking for good food, view, and a chill place. I am so glad they did. If it’s between here and other dinner places along the water/ hope this review helps. Enjoy! 5 plus stars.

Came to The Angler for a solo birthday lunch. Asked to be seated at the bar & was told that was fine only to see the bartender not serving my side of the bar at all. I was the only person on my side while everyone else was on the other side so maybe she didn’t see me. I waited about 15 minutes when I decided to go back to the hostess stand & just ask to be seated in hopes that I could finally place an order. I am seated & told that an Emily would be by to help me. I ordered a drink & their angler crab cake. I ask if it’s on a roll of some sort to which I’m told it’s on a ciabatta bread & served like a sandwich, perfect. My food comes out & the moment I take a bite into the “sandwich” it completely falls apart, ruining my dress & entire meal as its now a clump of food on my lap. Emily approaches me & sees what’s happened; her only response is “well do you want some more napkins?” As she can see that I do have napkins & am trying to save my dress from the oil & butter. At this point I’m completely over the lack of consideration from the staff. All I was trying to do was enjoy my birthday with a martini & some seafood & I felt disregarded the entire time.

Awesome location on the dock! Great happy hour, 2 for 1 drinks and food deals. Shrimp were great. Grouper fingers were decent, batter needed a lil more flavor. Will be back!
