Since 1986, Malibu’s Surf Shop has been providing customers, friends, and family
with all of your surfing needs. Originally located in Potomac, MD, Malibu’s
current boardwalk location in Ocean City offers everything that you would need
in the surfing world. Though small in size, we pride ourselves in our surfboard
selection, clothing, and accessories. All of our surfboards are hand shaped with
no overseas factory production, making each board a unique work of art as well
as a great addition to any quiver.
During the summer, Malibu’s offers private surfing lessons, stand-up paddleboard tours and surfboard rentals to people of all ages and
skill levels. If you are comfortable in the water and want to learn, we’ll take
care of you! We have been offering lessons since 1993 and continue to schedule
them in the mornings and afternoons all summer. In addition, we have started
offering stand-up paddleboard tours so check out our lessons page for all the
details!

Best surf shop in the area! I lived in San Diego for 20 years and surfed 4-5 days a week… I know surf culture and Lee and his crew are as real and genuine as you’ll find anywhere. They have an excellent selection of boards from legendary shapers and all the gear you might need to go chase waves or just cruise the boardwalk. Definitely worth a visit.

We love Malibu's Surf shop! We take surf lessons with them and they're so sweet, cool, and knowlegable. They make you feel comfortable right off the bat and are very passionate about surfing. We will continue to take lessons with them and get some new boards soon. Wade is an awesome surf instructor. Thank you Malibu's for being authentic and showing the world how gnarly surfing is.

Our experience with Malibu’s was awesome. The staff were super friendly, the inventory was top notch and fully stocked, and they even hooked me up with a surf lesson, despite the last minute request. Pat was an awesome instructor and had me standing up and actually surfing, on my own, within just a few attempts. I highly recommend this surf shop to anyone looking for great quality clothing and personalized service. Do the surf lesson!
