World-class mead, a great vibe and plenty of it to share with your friends/to-go. Scott and Megan have created a unique experience that is unlike anything else in the Eastern Shore, and you NEED to stop in and check it out. Flights of all their mead are available on draft, and you can purchase whatever you like most, in bottles to-go. I absolutely loved the Strawbuddy + hops mead (hopped w/ local Amarillo), as well as True To My Roots -- which had local sweet potatoes and apples, + cinnamon. The mead/product is amazing, and all that goes into the creative/experimental recipes, but Scott is what really makes the experience great. He's friendly, informative, conversational and an all-around great guy. Not only that, he's very well skilled at brewing/fermentation. I wish we had more small business owners like him and Megan. Go in and support them/try their delicious mead -- you won't be disappointed! I'll be back every time in the area.

This is a great place. We had some mead at a local restaurant and knew we needed to check this place out. It’s pretty small, but the owner is super friendly and very informative. I love that he sources his ingredients locally. We had a flight and tried a couple different ones. My fave was the strawberry (seasonal) and we went home with a few bottles. If you’ve got the time you should absolutely stop in for a drink.

It is so nice to meet an owner of a meadery who isn't brimming with arrogance. Brett was so cool to come up and start talking with us today while sampling his mead. He is an energetic brew master by night, but by days he's a public school teacher!
The meadery is located on the back side of a small parking lot with plenty of sun for the outdoor seating area. The inside is an intimate space for conversation while enjoying a flight of their newly crafted mead. Peep around the corner and you will have full view of the brewing area.
Today was my first visit, wasn't sure what to expect but I was excited for the experience. The gentlemen tending the bar greeted my fiancé and I with a smile and warm greeting. We were told not to expect the expected. Most mead is thick and syrupy, but Buzz meadery managed to make it light and sparkly. The strawbuddy, strawberry + hops, and solstice were more like sparkling wines, and the honey comber was smooth with a definite honey finish. The roasted coffee was certainly that, roasted coffee, it had a smooth flavor, light color and it went down easy.
When took home a bottle of the strawbuddy, 22ounce, dark bottle, 6.9% alc, and a super fancy wood burned business card.
I highly suggest stopping in for an alternative to beer or wine. Its not expensive and they won't pressure you to buy more products.
