Came here for Father's Day dinner. We hadn't been in a long time. Things were definitely different than we remembered. Inside was pretty sparse for the downstairs dining area. Only a few tables tucked into a corner by the stage but the outdoor seating seemed to be more popular at the tiki bar. The food was average, nothing was bad but nothing really stood out either. The best item we got was the chicken tender platter.

Saw some posts about inside—ownership has changed not sure how you want to rate that. They passed us to Tiki Tim’s outside and it was great! The food (which comes from Globe) was excellent. The service was as good if not better.

Wings were excellent—I’d have done a little more heat, but they offered immediately. Ribs were fantastic, some of the best I’ve had honestly.

"America's Coolest Small Town" now has the coolest bar/restaurant on the eastern shore - possibly the state.

The revitalized town of Berlin continues to be a hidden gem of Ocean City Maryland but the little town will not be able to hide long with such a great venue. The old movie theater has been beautifully converted into what reminded me of a refined 9:30 club. The main floor welcomes you with a large bar which serves local beers from Burley Oak Brewery. I tried the pink High heat/Hibiscus Ale which was created by the brewer to support breast cancer awareness and is delicious! If beer is not your drink of choice they have some fantastic signature drinks such as Pot Still Apple Bourbon, Cucumber Martini and the BBQ margarita. Speaking of BBQ, there is an open kitchen that serves some of the most delicious BBQ that I have ever tasted. My wife and I were so impressed with the food and the service that we returned the next day for brunch. She had the gravy and biscuits and I had the chipped beef which were also awesome! The stage is occupied by live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night which includes both national and local musicians/comedians. The upstairs has it's own bar so you do not have to go up and down steps and if the band that is playing is not your cup of tea, you can escape outside to the enclosed tiki bar area. In a post-covid world this venue will be packed but for now they keep the crowd to a minimum, spread everyone out, and are constantly wiping down surfaces so don't be concerned about visiting now. The bar is right next to The Atlantic Hotel in Berlin which is where Runaway Bride was filmed and all of the shops in town are unique and charming. If you live anywhere on the Eastern shore or are visiting Ocean City, The Globe and Berlin MD is a must stop destination.
